HE President Emmerson Mnangagwa commissioned a Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) new Mahindra single cab trucks
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa commissioned a Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) fleet of 130 new Mahindra single cab trucks and unveiled the new name for the Morris Deport Police Academy to ZRP Mkushi Police Academy on 5 July 2023. The new name is inspired by the Mkushi Girls Camp in Zambia which was a military training camp for female guerillas during Zimbabwe’s Liberation Struggle.
The new ZRP fleet will be distributed amongst police camps and police posts across the country. H.E President Mnangagwa said the new fleet is Government’s efforts to rejuvenate police presence and deliver the ZRP constitutional mandate. His Excellency President E.D Mnangagwa donated 100 laptops, a projector and printers to the ZRP Mkushi Academy, ZRP Ntabazinduna Training Centre and the Zimbabwe Staff College.
