HE PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA ASSUMES SADC CHAIRMANSHIP
Outgoing chairperson of the regional bloc,the President of Angola . His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Loureço handed over the chairmanship to his Excellence President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe on the 17th of August 2024 at the New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden in Zimbabwe . The SADC Summit was running under the theme ,” Promoting lnnovation to unlock opportunities for sustained economic growth and development towards an lndustrialised SADC .”
