HE President Mnangagwa met Matabeleland Chiefs over Gukurahundi
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa is interfacing with Chiefs from Matabeleland North and South Provinces, at State House in Bulawayo.
National Chiefs Council president, Chief Mtshane Khumalo, briefed President Mnangagwa on their state of preparedness to begin the consultations.
Chief Khumalo highlighted that the priority for the process was healing, dialogue, and reconciliation. He added that the consultations would use a victim centred approach to ensure that the program is sensitive to the needs of those directly affected.
