HE President attends Pastors4ED Harare Province Chapter
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa was the Guest of Honour at the Pastors for Economic Development (#Pastors4ED) and the Zimbabwe Union Council of Churches (ZUCOC) Conference at the City Sports Centre, Harare on the 29th March 2023.
The Conference marked the official launch of the #Pastors4ED Harare Metropolitan Province Chapter. It also doubled as a graduation ceremony for Pastors who have acquired certificates as marriage officers and commissioners of oaths, as well as the ordination of Pastors and Chaplains. His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa was honoured with a Gown of Adornment and Conferred with an Ordination Certificate of Recognition and Honour by the Zimbabwe Union Council Of Churches and #Pastors4ED at the conference.
President Mnangagwa alluded that under the mandate of the organisation there was need to unite and work to advance economic development in our nation. He further called upon the Church and communities to stir up the fight against drug and substance abuse. The conference also saw several churches receiving certificates of ZUCOC membership.
