HE President attends St Joseph Catholic Mission 100th Celebrations
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa attended the 100th Centenary Celebrations and Thanksgiving at St Joseph Catholic Mission in Kezi, Matabeleland South on the 19th of March 2023.
The President toured the mission and officially opened the Mission’s Primary School Administration Block.
President Mnangagwa donated 20 computers to the Mission Primary School. He also donated an ambulance for the Mission Hospital, and two vehicles. He further pledged to install solar boreholes at the Mission.
Addresing the gathering, HE President Mnangagwa said that “No persons or groups should ever be allowed to sow seeds of hate, division and disunity among us. Under my Administration, we reject the notion of ‘us and them. Tribalism and regionalism, among other divisive tendencies, which act against the realisation of our collective development aspirations are not acceptable.”
