HE President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the Concord Young Women in Business Global ICT Graduation Ceremony
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa attended the Concord Young Women in Business Global ICT graduation ceremony at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Hall 1 in Bulawayo on 6 April 2023.
Concord Young Women in Business Global ICT is a women empowerment group that seeks to empower the girl child with ICT skills and how they can utilise ICT to grow their businesses.
The President said by embarking on this exercise in training young women, both in urban and rural areas, to be proficient in ICT, the CYWB have taken up a role which Government should have done. He further directed the Ministry of Finance to support this program.
President Mnangagwa pledged that through the YWIB provincial coordinators, Government will ensure that you’re capacitated well enough to also train more young women and girls
