HE President officially opens Epworth Magistrate Court
His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa officially opened the newly-established Magistrate Court in Epworth, Harare.
The Epworth court building consists of two magistrates court rooms, with eight offices and ablution facilities. The construction of the magistrates Court in suburbs is in line with the Government’s quest to take justice delivery systems to the people.
President Mnangagwa said that the construction of this Magistrate’s court is yet another milestone which attests to Government’s commitment towards the decentralization of essential services. It further guarantees enhanced access to resources and services, including courts of law, by the majority of our citizens in all parts of Zimbabwe.
In his remarks, President Mnangagwa said that access to quality judicial services remains an important pillar in our endeavour to realise Vision 2030. In line with the Constitution, the JSC must scale up the facilitation and promotion of transparent, effective and efficient justice delivery in Zimbabwe.
