H.E President Emmerson Mnangagwa presided over the burial of Brigadier General (Rtd) Mpabanga at the National Heroes Acre. President Mnangagwa described the late national hero as a distinguished, patriotic and dedicated revolutionary who played his part towards the liberation of Zimbabwe. Cde Mpabanga was accorded National Hero status in recognition of his contribution to the liberation struggle, unification and development of post-independent Zimbabwe. He is survived by his wife, Sethekele, three children and four grandchildren.
